This spread is a pretty popular one when it comes to relationships and I found it on Madam Seaqueen's lenormand blog.

The Bear for me is usually a dominating, strong & protective man. Dominating this man is harder than you even think. On other hand this card also suggests I'm more focused on my strength and power, both physical and financial. This card can be both in my case. My thoughts are usually on another guy, who unfortunately doesn't feel as strongly towards me as I do towards him & at the same time I'm more focused on learning and having a strong financial base right now.

Hopes & Desires:

Before I even pulled the cards I was already thinking what will I get in this position & this reminded me of last night when someone asked me "Do you like kids?" and I was like "yeah, I want 3 of them, 2 boys and a girl". Its funny how I'm obsessed with Kids and my thoughts are all on being strong enough, for my kids, who someday will look up to mommy & know who they want to be like! 

Child also suggests I want sensitivity & naiveness, in this relationship.

Feelings:

My feelings are very much open & flighty you might say. I think the last thing on my mind right now is a romantic relationship & my feelings change a lot, when it comes to matters of romance. I'm more concerned with my freedom than with anything. 

Qualities I display in relationship:

Hope, faith, dreams and positive energy like that. I also associate this card with new paths and new hopes. This shows that I bring the element of hope in the relationship.

Looks like he is stressed and troubled. Reminds me of the time when I met him and he was very very keen to make friends with me & I asked him why & he said "I thought I needed someone to talk to". Looks like there is something that is upsetting him in a bad way.

Hopes & Desires:

Ring: Oh that explains a lot of things. He seeks a connection, which he told me in our first meeting. He is looking for a stable commitment sort of thing, (but he says the opposite :/ ) and he hopes for a stronger and deeper connection. He is a Libra, 7th house ruler and ruled by Venus, so if he hopes for a relationship, he is very much in tune with what he really needs.

His Feelings:

House: He feels safe & comfortable. 

Qualities he displays in the relationship:

Heart: Yes he is very compassionate and very caring towards me.

So looking at the situation, He wants a relationship, he is warm and caring & he feels comfortable then what is troubling him (Mountain)? May be its my thoughts of another man I share with him that bother him. But I do bring hope in the relationship but at the same time my feelings are very changeable and inconsistent.

The good part is he wants a stable connection & I want kids.

He feels comfortable and secure & I feel change & improvement.

He shows love & I show hope.

The only thing that bothers me is, he is stressed because my thoughts are on power & strength (& another man) instead of him.

To get the outcome, we have to add the cards:

so Whips + Snake means conflicts and troubles along with arguments. Interestingly both are Jack & Queen of same suit & can be representing me & him, he is very athletic & sporty & communicative while I'm bit colder, career-focused & complicated. The outcome however, leads to good faithful friendship or happy nice company. We can say that troubles and verbal complications are there, we might even have some communication issues, but the outcome is good friends & happy endings with hearts & roses.

Thoughts of Ex-lover

Line of Five has always been a favourite of mine because of its simplicity and to the point answer. Sarah has been in a relationship for about a year now but these days specially she finds herself thinking about her ex lover with whom she has not been in touch for about 2 years now. They broke up 4 years ago so there is no chance for them to be back together yet she finds herself wondering, rather wishing if he will message her someday. Her question is: why am I still thinking about him?

Dog - Rider as the first two cards, confirm that her thoughts are on this guy from past.Dog-Mountain, this person is someone with whom things were not easy or we can say telepathy is at work and this guy is in problem. Dog- Heart shows she is still having feelings for him and she is still in love with him, at least a part of her is. Dog - Letter shows we can expect a message from him. May be just a friendly message.

Rider - Mountain is news not coming, this news can be something from far away, since both Rider and Mountain sound "foreign". This guy from past lives far away, so may be she needs to just hear from him. Rider-Heart , yes she needs to hear from this person because she is still having a soft corner for him in her heart. Rider - Letter = a document, probably an email, will come by from this person.

Mountain - Dog she worries about this person . Mountain- Rider this person has caused some blockages in her life. Mountain - Heart the blockages are related to the matter of expressing love. Mountain - Letter there is no message, news from this person.

Dog - Rider is a friend who is coming over, or thoughts on a friend and Heart-Letter reflecting it says that there is a desire to send a message to this person.

Middle card answers the question, Mountain, blockages, delays and stress. She needs to release her feelings of love towards him, probably by writing to him since writing is one of the best therapies I have tried, specially in cases like this. Once she releases what she is holding inside, she will stop thinking about him.

Another 3x3 practice question

Q: What does she need to do in order to have a stable, healthy, long-term relationship?

The other question dealt mainly with what is blocking the way. This question deals with the aspect of what needs to be done.Of course an effort is needed in both regards and remember, both are different aspects, not same.

The first card: hope, faith and new path. This is my wish card, it tells me that we should never give up wishing on the Stars because we never know which one might come true. This card tells that she needs to remain hopeful and keep wishing. Its the power of faith that is biggest of all other powers.

The central card, Child. She needs a new beginning. Sometimes we are so used to the patterns and routines in our life, we forget the essence of life is change. She needs to start it fresh. Again the Child-like belief in things will also boost up the energy.

Columns:
1:A huge power of faith and believe is needed, which will resolve the troubles she is in. It looks like her faith is being blocked because of the negative energy present around. Whip is the negative energy here which needs to end with Mountain/Cross. Whip can also be the aggression which of bottled up, results in depression.
2: The learning about working of karma and the working of power of faith will help her on the way. There is some learning involved. She can not get her wish until she learns that there are burdens which we all have to carry, and this is where the growth comes in.She needs to grow up/learn/mature spiritually.
3: The power of optimism, will eventually shine through the clouds, set backs and hindrances. She needs to be the sun, that one ray of hope which comes out of the Clouds will eventually get her going towards a change.

Rows:
1: One one side of book there is night, on the other side there is day. After every night there is a day. The extreme power of faith and hope is all that helps us learn about the true essence of life.
2: After she climbs the mountain, which can be a spiritual journey too, will come a fresh new beginning and improvements (Lighter side of clouds towards Child). The future right now is unclear, unless the fresh start happens.
3: Troubles/aggression/discussions end and a new change happens.The last line is quite hopeful.

Diagonals: 
Stars - Child - Ship ; An innocent belief in change and movement.

Sun - Child - Whip : The energy needs to be channelized to another fresh start (Whip is something done for second time).

Sun - Mountain- Ship: A move to foreign lands.

Stars - Clouds - Whip: Literally clear up the Confusions so that the stars can come out. She needs some mental clarity.

Summary: In this reading I can see that some major hindrances need to be overcome. There is strong requirement for patience, clarity, faith and hope. It looks like nothing in the material world is holding her back, its more related to her spiritual well-being. Her soul needs to be cleansed and be new before something can happen for her.

More Practice with 3x3 spread

I did one with the Flower card appearing repeatedly for me and it worked just really good. I decided to another one for my friend. This time I won't be using any pre-chosen significator card, instead let the cards choose the central card as the most important aspect of the reading.

Q: What are the obstacles on my way to a serious relationship?
A:

The first card tells a lot about the thoughts at the moment. The Roads in this position tell me she is facing choices. She cannot make up her mind about what she needs to do or she simply has to move on, pick one, while she cannot decide which option (suitor) is better for her. The Clover shows there is hope, about more or better options which is stopping her from moving forward. This is where the trouble(Whip) is lying.

Lets look at the central card which is the focus, Moon. Moon card has been my favourite quite recently. This card represents many thing, illusion, intuition, feelings, emotions, romance, recognition, and above all our Feminine side. Now I understand why this card has appeared here. This friend of mine, is full of Mars energy. She is anything but feminine. This is where the problem lies. She is the man she wants to be with and this is where the problem lies. I think this is why the Roads are there in first position. She needs to get in touch with her feminine side and at the core of it she will realize who is good for her.

Lets look at the columns:
1: There is a decision which needs to be taken before a strong love bond can be established.
2: There is some psychic message or a message from the intuition which can be of help.
3: There is a need to straighten things out (Snake is twisted, Tower is something straight and clear).Whip can be discussions with mother or an independent woman who is someone with a "spine".

Rows:
1: If she makes a decision, she will find luck and a younger guy (Whip) may be. This can also be an indication of a tough luck or troubled luck or she can't make up her mind because she is not very hopeful about her luck.

2: She is not sure about her true feelings. Her heart is not comfortable because of the emotional ups and downs she is feeling.

3: This seems like a bond/contract with isolation.

Diagonals: 
Roads - Moon - Tower: The way to success is going by the books. There can be some illusions regarding the alternatives available, but she needs to see them high and clear. Moon and Tower both are about status in society, and recognition. She needs to make a decision before she can be "seen" romantically.

Whip - Moon - Ring : Breaking up from the illusions and bringing some midnight activities in her schedule will bring towards her some recognition and a strong binding relationship.

Whip - Heart - Tower: This looks like a break up which has pushed her into loneliness.

Roads - Snake - Ring : Clearly the road to a serious romance right now is very twisted.
She needs to work great deal on herself before anything can happen for her.

Summary: She needs to find her self-esteem, a woman who is independent (Snake-Tower) might be a great help. Besides that she needs to make up her mind (Roads). The love for isolations she has developed is what is actually the biggest hindrance in her serious relationship. If she can get over these three things, although it does not seem easy, she can get it on just fine.

So the man is my best friend's new friend who has asked her out twice. They have an amazing click and they fit together anything. She asked me to do a spread for her.

1. Key: There is a feeling of finding a solution, and answer which can unlock the doors for him. He thinks she is the answer to some questions he has been looking for.

She confirmed that he tells her she is the only one he talks to so regularly because she understands him, his humour and his problems.

2. Anchor: The Anchor card often reminds me of Capricorn, stable, structured, determined. This is what he is like. The Anchor shows he has some stable feelings for her. He feels secure with her. Anchor is a card which tells us something that is long-lasting, which puts a stop to movements (Anchor holds the ship in place). She seems like his personal harbour.

3. Ring: This can be a relationship he has been in before. Ring can also represent a deep devotion, a bond so strong. May be she does not understand but he feels a great bond with her. The Ring is however making me think,if he has been hiding about a relationship he has had before.

4. Stars: Hopes, dreams, new path. The Stars are my "wish card". Stars rule the 11th house of the Zodiac which also rules groups, friends and acquaintances. The Stars in this position tell me they need to dream together, have faith in each other and also the relationship. The Stars also represent new path, they need to move to a new path in order to bridge their gap.

5. Sun: Wonderful. Its a really positive spread with NO negative cards at all. Sun card represents true love as well. Sun is the card of energy, success with luck, abundance and optimism. If they stay on this course of faith and hope, they will have a beautiful future together.

This spread has made me so happy today. For the very first time I've seen such a positive spread where there is no negativity involved. If he brings the commitment(Ring) and she brings the energy (Sun) together they can create a new path to the stars (Stars).

Depression, introversion and Lenormand

I have been pretty down lately, while I should be happy. I was trying to put it onto the unplanned or unprepared for date of mine last week, but its not that only. There is something else bothering me. It can be my love being so absorbed in some depressive mode as well and I want to know WHY are we in this mode while nothing is apparently wrong.

Q: Why are we in this introvert, intense, depressive mode after our meeting?

Tree - Birds - Roads - Moon - Mice

Roads in the middle talk about a state of indecisive-ness or not knowing what to do. This is what's happening right now.
In the Past we had this comfortable, being home kind of feeling. Tree+Birds is my "being home" combo because Birds live on Trees.  Tree is enhanced if its placed closer to Roads. Therefore, we can say that this growth in the relationship and this stronger rooted connection (Tree) we have has made us nervous (Birds) and we don't know what to do (Roads).

In future, I see loss of sleep, we are already at it. He is taking pills to sleep and I spend nights awake, trying to figure out what's exactly wrong.

So story-line we have this deep connection, where we are supposed to grow and learn from each other (Tree), we are not feeling well in body and spirit (Tree+Birds). this is causing the anxiety and nervous about the options we have (Birds+Roads).The Roads in the middle tell me that we are at a decision point, we are not sure what to do, we cannot find the way to success (Roads+Moon) and this is what is causing the sleeplessness and other problems (Moon+Mice). Birds also suggest insomnia which both of us are having.we are not sure of these are the words of illusion(Birds+Moon) we are having and the Roads add to the unsure feelings. This is causing stress at spiritual level and this feeling of being eaten at (Tree+Mice).We both have been pretty ill with upset stomachs in last three days.

Adding the Cards: 13-Child: The major cause for all this is feeling vulnerable. We are scared that we are being too naive and exposing too much and the fear of getting hurt.


Q: What should I do to make him feel better and secure?

Snake + Garden = a socialising woman
Snake + Storks = a woman who brings change, bring something better
Storks + Garden = Changes that make one appear in public

Its talking about a change that brings a woman in public, I should plan another date with him.

Storks + Rider = a message about journey
Book + Rider = A message which will remain a secret, a secret visit

This definitely points towards a secret visit which can bring a change, a positive change I hope, and this can be about meeting again. This will be a secret meeting (Garden+Book).

Adding them together : 71=8-Coffin. End whatever happened before and start afresh. Coffin is temporary pain that usually passes. So I should start it over to make him feel better. 

Lessons of Life explained with Lenormand!

Whenever I meet someone significant or someone who brings something positive in my life, I take that person as a way of learning something from life. Everything, every relationship we have is meant to teach us something. I am so happy and so satisfied in this relationship, I had to know what I'm supposed to learn from this happy part of my life.

Q:What am I supposed to learn from this relationship?

Clover in the middle tell me 'm supposed to learn to be happy with small things. Cloverleaf is small happiness, short-term bliss, and I'm supposed to find this short-term bliss in hoping, dreaming and wishing (Stars) while feeling free to let go the sight of harbour (Ship) and getting out of my comfort zone to find something of greater value (Fish).

Snake is a card about Transformation, because they shed the skin and start a new cycle over. This tells me I should leave the older patterns behind and start to a new path (Stars) which will bring me happiness (Clover).

Clover + Ship + Fish tells me this is my lucky journey towards being independent and self-sufficient. Fish card is the card which has ship in it , water can represent emotions, Ship can be emotional journey towards self-fulfilment.

If I look at this spread in terms of classical Past, Present and Future spread, it tells me I have left the past behind and found a new path (Snake and Stars) and right now I'm blessed with happiness and joy (Clover). In the future, there will be a journey towards emotional self-sufficiency.

The base card was Scythe. Scythe tells me the whole lesson is based on letting go. I'm a kind of person who is not very good at this bit. I hate letting things go, but this is what my lesson is. I'm supposed to leave things behind and move on.

Adding all: 62 = 6+2 = 8-Coffin = Transformation. This relationship indeed here is to teach me about transformation and death as a way of starting over. When something dies, we are supposed to let it go and move on to the next thing. Death is just another form of life.

How I have loved the way this deck has answered my question. So true and so to the point!

I love trying new spreads. Here I am with something new to try my hands on. I would like to do this for this love relationship I have with this man and see what comes up.

I initially had been using 25-RING as a key card for this relationship since we both are so committed towards each other, but later I realized that 25-RING is more of a binding, while what we feel for each other is a strong affection, but nothing proper or legal, for that matter, exists between us. Therefore, for this spread I will use 24-HEART to get accurate results. If the 25-RING appears nearby that will give me better answer.

Past: Key - Clouds - Roads
There had been some destined obstacles and uncertainities. clouds looks like him, because he was not sure what he wanted to do. Eventually we had a choice whether or not to continue it. the Key card tells me whatever it is, it was meant to happen. there are uncertainities, but we always had a choice and we chose what we wanted.

Present: Ship - Heart - Lady
So here I am having a lovely journey, I'm in love and it sets me free. I feel so good. There are some confusions and some longing because he is physically away, but the idea itself is very tempting. The idea of being in love. With Roads closer to me, it shows that I could have taken a different path, but I'm being indecisive or that I'm looking for my options, specially the way Lady is facing the Roads , like she is trying to find a way she wants to go on.

Immediate Future: Cross- Scythe - Moon
This looks like there is hand of fate at work here. This will bring some sudden jolt of reality. The way we are being illusionary in the moon-lit romantic dream-like life, this illusion will end suddenly. It will be painful, but at the same time its meant to happen.There will be a swinging mood of us both which is because of the cross we have to bear.

Soon: Lilies- Bear - Fish
This relationship will mature. We will get past the phase where things are dream-like but in the end this love will only grow, peacefully. Lilies have often represented him. Lilies can be an affair as well. The Bear and Fish cards are money-related cards and they represent increase or growth. There will be peace, growth, strength and emotional abundance in this relationship.However, at the same time, these can be two men as well.

There has been confusion in the past, we are not sure what to do, but in near future, we will make a sudden decision, a decision that will give this relationship more strength with BEAR in the end.

Update: I don't know how I forgot to update this one. The reading was right, specially with the scythe. This reading was done on 20th Jan and soon after that, like 20 days after this, we broke up. It was painful (Cross) but suddenly (Scythe) things became clear (Scythe-Moon). I did get lot of power and strength (Bear) from this relationship though. It was like I became me again. 
The Trigger row worked like a charm, we started as unsure (Clouds), we broke up(Scythe) and we grew stronger (Bear) from the experience.

Relationship Reading 2

Having got a really accurate prediction done about a relationship here, I decided to do this same one for a snapshot for my friend and a guy in her life. They are just friends right now but she sees a romantic potential.

Present Situation: Key -Storks - Rider
It looks like the destiny has brought a change for her through him. The Storks is the Queen of Diamonds who can surely represent her.The Rider can be him, since he is quite a young guy besides he is a friend-lover sort of guy for her right now so it can be him. It looks like destiny brought them together. This is totally true for them given the kind of encounter that brought them together.

Advice: Clover + Roads = It looks like they will have multiple luck, or they have to come to some terms which will bring luck for them. The Roads card has sometimes shows an escape or an alternative to me as well, which shows they will find luck if they take a decision as to whether they want to remain friends or lovers.

Outcome: This was supposed to be one card, but the Man was not giving up much so I pulled another card. The small Ace of Hearts on the Man card caught my attention. The Man and Woman both facing each other, this looks perfect in the outcome position. I thought it could mean the outcomes depends on the man, but here its more than that.  I pulled a third card and it was Clouds. This could show some troubles, but with them facing each other and the lighter side of clouds towards them, it looks like my friend needs to leave some uncertainties behind and enjoy life.With the Roads sitting right on top of her, they are simply the options or alternatives in her head, the Guy is waiting for her right in front of her.
