Talk about aggression this week & suppressed aggressiveness (Book-Rods).

First thing that caught my eye is the RING (Ace of Clubs) card. This card represents a contract with Whips or it can be a troubled relationship. In my weekly draw of three cards with the ordinary Playing Cards deck too, I have Ace of Clubs which represents a new beginning or a contract. I think I will be discussing a contract. With Book it can be an apprenticeship or further studies under discussion. I have an interview tomorrow for an apprenticeship. Looking at this way, Book - Whip - Ring, It looks almost positive to me.

So this apprenticeship thing, I am starting hopefully next week, if I get the call letter. The RING is still looking very hopeful because I later intend to continue as an employee with the same organization.

A man & woman have a secret, An advice leads to a decision or exploration of options. An older wiser man advises and shows options to an indecisive woman regarding her studies or options that are somewhat open to her.

This man can be a number of people but I think its this Saturn-Influenced mature guy I know. He did help me making a decision or two this week which I was facing regarding my career & this apprenticeship I mentioned

With Mice there, I think this message will be incomplete or will be lost. The presence of Man on other side shows its from a man who can be anyone. With Mercury, the planet of electronic & communication turning retrograde, its a double confirmation. I have to be sure I receive all important documents.

First of all, the theme of the week was basically messages, messages and messages. I had to dispatch the application with attested testimonials during the week but I could not (Mice-Letter). I was intending to have a thorough conversation with this Man I have not talked to in days, but I could not, mainly because I was busy. If I have lost a message, I have no clue.

Two negative cards surrounding Rider which is also card for message and communication. Just strengthening the above said concept.

I super hated the lack of conversation this week. There were a few things I got to clarify with this person, but still there was sure a feeling that I miss talking to him !!!

This is a complicated man, an introvert may be, this man is with a woman who is not so open, and is rather keeping a secret.

That one is so wicked true. This man, oh how so introvert he is and how mysterious *awed*. Anyway I believe he is with another woman, and he is just keeping it a secret.

I must add here, I missed Rider-Snake but I barely escaped a road accident during weekend on a twisted road. Rider can be vehicle and Snake can be twisted road, watch out with the combo people!

Other information: A lost message or a lack of communication between a man & woman (King & Queen of Clubs). This communication is related to another man (Man) which leads to Book at end of the spread.

SUN + BOOK + RIDER

THEME CARD: This is the day of staying cheered up & optimistic. Sun also shows energy & success. With Book I think it will be something I already know. May be reading something will cheer me up. Book-Rider shows someone will be coming over, a message, an email, only I don't know about it yet!

RESULTS: After some bad mood swings I was actually feeling very much better today. I also had some unexpected cheerful conversations with someone who is more like a mystery to me!

My friend's result is going to be announced tomorrow, matters a lot to him so he asked me if he will get anything good to tell

Tower as the middle card looks good, specially with Book, it means the university. There are Flowers on the other side. Tower means official or authority but it also means independence and self-reliance.

Lilies - Flowers means a head-to-head or lots of happiness and harmony.

Book - Ship is a change not known yet.

So basically I see excitement he is anticipating an improvement and there is coming a change, of permanent nature, which is not revealed yet.

I gather he will not exactly have a great news to tell but he might get a few papers passed to tell. Bottom line, he won't be the happiest with his result, but he will get lost of inspiration, excitement, happiness and motivation to re-appear in those he couldn't get through this time.

There are two 10s in this reading, and both two tens usually mean a change of scene, a move.

Update: I was very right in this. He is not the happiest with his result, but he has been motivated on a different level for taking another stab at it. It was exactly how I put it. Not what he wanted to know, but not exactly worst of the times too.

Week 29 predictions!

Week 29

The middle or theme card is Mice, which is very accurate here. I have been having so many worries these days. Its like everything is just happening at full speed and at the same time.

Mice as the middle card is also the card of worries, theft or loses. I have no idea how I will deal with this but its happening, that bit I can tell.

Mice eat what is to the left and as a result you lose what is to the right. Here the Mice will eat at my shrewdness and as a result I will find myself indecisive.In case of negative cards, it eats the negativity. Fox is negative, so it is advantageous in a way.

Fox - Mice - Roads = lies are revealed and this will lead me to a decision point.

This looks like a friend who is argumentative and liar. I can totally get this one. I think I already know who this person is.

Update: It turned out to be a big time argument/fight/heated discussion between me and a friend when he accused me of something and then he said he meant it as a joke. I refused to believe that was just a joke. Then we ended up giving each other worst time by not taking each other's calls or replying the other person's messages.

A journey made because of my studies or for knowledge.Since my exams are going on so this one makes sense too.

Things have gone worst between me and that friend from the other half of the spread. Besides that my project has started working I just can't believe my luck right now. Its so great. There are options now and I can definitely make a movement forward with my project which is often represented by Book in my GT.

Whip - Rider = work out, jogging, discussing a news, regarding a false argument (Whip-Fox).

I have two 9s and two 10s and I have had these two so often. In kapherus cartomancy system they mean travel within city and higher studies. Like I said I have exams so I have to go to other part of city everyday.

The meanings given on cartomantes Cabinet they mean A change of scene and some money received. I have not received any money (umm, no) and I don't see any change of scene yet...:(

Prediction: The Book is the card which represents my studies and specially my Final Year Project. The Tower with the Book represents either my university (I'd prefer Tower-Book for that) or self-study or independent study mode. On the other hand Book-Tower could mean a secret which will not be revealed.
Tower-Moon is an institute which deals with public matters or recognized institute.

What Happened in relation to cards:
I could not possibly place this one today. I have no idea what this daily draw was referring to. I had to go to university but I could not because I was busy with work stuff. The Moon in the end is showing otherwise because Moon means success. Besides that I was discussing the University policies with a friend today.

Cards: Moon + Book + Cross

Key Card: Moon

Key words: dreams, recognition

Prediction: The Moon is a complex card. One one hand it shows the dark side, the intuition, the dreams, the subconscious and illusions. On the other hand it is public recognition, fame and being in spotlight. The Book next to it may be a secret or something I know a little about. The Cross is the last card, which sums it up, or ends it, and it is pain, suffering and whatever lies to the left does not matter any more.

Moon + Book may be the knowledge, or my interpretation of the dreams. I've been unable to decipher my dreams these days since I sleep late after watching some movie and then I can't remember them next morning. The Book refers to my studies/project as well. The Cross is the card which brings pain, suffering but its the pain you cannot avoid.

Moon + Book  = dream interpretation, secret coming out in open, recognition through knowledge
Moon + Cross = painful dreams, painful recognition
Book + Cross = pain which is not known yet.


What Happened in relation to cards: Observation: I had to do something which jeopardise my image in front of a lot of people who are close to me. It was something related to the trip about which I have posted the latest post. I decided I would not want to go. This definitely caused some disruption, and arguments resulting in leaving me depressed. I don't like the Cross at the end.

The Moon + Book was recognition through studies, the result of the Scholarships program was up and my name was on the top. That was a big deal for me. The Book + Cross was the GPA which was lower than the last time, sad! Moon + Cross was the emotional dilemma I was facing and therefore, suffering.

Book was pre-selected for exams. 

Line of Five with Pre-chosen middle card

First thing, All cards except the pre-chosen card, are court cards. A couple from same suit. The Jack and Club are not facing each other, a disagreement and an argument. The King and Queen of Diamonds are facing each other, a strong bond.

This shows me if this is about the disagreement between me and a class mate and if it will be resolved during exams. 

Whip + Snake is usually an eloquent man. Whip is also the card of trouble, and Snake the complications. Not a good sign.

Fish + Roads = This usually means income from two sources, but in terms of exams, it will simply means because confused because of the MCQs. In my exams 50% of the question are Multiple Choice Questions. The thing with these kind of questions is that if you get it right, you get full marks, if you get it wrong, you lose it all. I have some love-hate feelings for this kind of questions (depends how many I answered correctly). So basically there is an equal chance, a 50% probability to win or lose it all.

Book + Snake could means trouble in exams, twisted questions etc

Book + Fish = indulgence in exams, being inside a bubble kind of feelings

Whip and Roads are the cards of Two's. Trouble lies in not knowing which one to choose. Conflict, choices, options, problems! You get the picture.

Snake + Fish = well, plenty of problem.

The spread is not positive at all. I see trouble in first 2 cards, and not knowing which option is better in last two cards. My exams were exactly that. Most of the questions caught me off guard. I'm not very studious type, but I manage to ace the class. I do not give myself another option. The exams, 5 courses, were all a mix. Some were good, some were bad. In one particular question I knew the answer, but I skipped the given details, and I ended up answering it wrong. Only later I realized that Ethernet can be extended using repeaters, only you cannot use more than 4 repeaters. See, I knew the answer and yet I answered it wrong, because I skipped the detail and question was twisted (Book + Snake).

I will throw me another spread to ask about the result.

The central card for the week is Garden, which symbolises meetings, public places, the environment and also social network (offline or online). Garden + Child is usually new company, or an event involving children. Garden + Dog is a supportive network, loyal friends, trustful friends. Child + Dog with Garden can be a new friend, or a friend met on an event. So this week revolves around the friends and the network.

This is a message from a child, or a news about new beginning which is not known yet. 

Book + Letter = information received through message/email/mail

So A childhood friend brings a message about a journey not known about yet. This message brings the basic knowledge about possibly a secret.

I discovered a secret, unexpectedly, about a friend. The Child has appeared with Dog because he looks really young and acts even younger. It happened when all of sudden I saw him, at a public place (Child - Garden - Dog )

I'm truly amazed to see Ship and Sun this week because we have been planning for a vacation trip and I want to leave this month because next month will cause me troubles at uni, I cannot afford missing classes. The Sun + Ship and Book + Ship tell me that by the end of the week I will have some positive news about the trip which has not been decided upon yet. The journey is not towards south, but its to a warmer place, thus, the Sun. The journey is overseas, so Ship looks like it.  

I have all positive and neutral cards this week. Looks very positive. 

I have three 10's (Ship, Book and Dog), which also means travel out of country.

Daily Draw for May 11

Today's daily draw:

Cross + Man + Tree (+Book)

Book card came out when I pulled the Tree card therefore I decided not to disregard it.

The Cross sets the theme for today so it looks like this is a bad day, because there is some problem or some pain happening. Its a daily draw, therefore, the pain will not be that big an issue.

Man + Tree + Book shows that this problem is because of a man who is ill and Book shows that I don't really know about his illness.

This turned out to be a friend, who is suffering a skin problem which turned out severe and he did not take me calls yesterday and neither returned any texts which worries me. I ended up finding he was ill therefore he could not talk. I did not know about his problem before. I wish him health.


May 12, 2012: Another update from last night: My friend, who has been represented by Tree in my GT for this month, may be because he is very family and ancestry oriented kind of guy, he was keeping a secret and he would still not tell me when I asked him again and again and then he plainly excused and left. This actually made me cry. Friends do not keep secrets from friends. The presence of Tree with Book tells me this is a secret he is not telling me any time soon. This is when the Cross came!

Week 18 (Updated)

Sun - Book - Roads - Mice - Flowers - Clover - Bear

The Central card is the Mice, the little thieves of Lenormand. This week I should expect a loss of some options and some Joy. Mice eat what's to the left and as a result you lose what's to the right, so Mice will steal some of my options, my way out (Roads) and as a result I will lose my happiness (Flowers).

The Mice turned out to be small worries about everyday matters.

What an interesting way to start the new month. I think I will never get a chance to remain optimistic ever again!

Sun - Book - Roads

Book-Roads was a combo from day before yesterday. I was unable to give a meaning to this except that I finished solving two assignments. Sun - Book tells me that there is some luck and success revealed which the options or the choices remain hidden for a while. I can use the extra energy to solve a couple more assignments in other words :p

Sun//Bear tells me there is lots of energy, success, luck, optimism for this week. I must take advantage of this.

Book//Clover = a small secret, discovering some luck and happiness which lasts for a short time

Roads//Flowers = A way to happiness, joyous options, many colourful alternatives. Decision leads to happiness.

The week is really going great so far. I'm feeling lots of positive changes are betterment with adjusting to the new situations that took me off guard last month. Today I went out to my cousin's place and met this really pretty young lady there which reminded me of Flowers card. She was however worried about something.

The week ended with situation improvised a lot on all fronts, many many problems resolved and a wonderful dinner with family. Life is back on track.

I have just finally made the payment for the project modules.I have been unable to make any decision for about a month now and I really have no idea that how I ended up deciding because of this Man who does these small projects independently. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that he does not break my trust just for this one time.

Whip+Key = Yes very very important discussion which went wrong. wrong as in heated. I wanted to discuss it calmly, easily but guess I'm not a very tolerant person. It ended up as a rather heated argument.


Had some argument with my Dad over last three days but I did realize there was a need for proper conversation with sitting down, controlling the emotions and then finally putting my words out in a proper manner , which I did, and me and my family ended up coming to a resolution for the problem which has been holding us apart for quite sometime now. 


April 24, 2012: Clover + Heart ; Clover + Man (heart to heart with Jay).
Had some Heart - to -Heart with Jay. It helped me a lot recovering from whatever I was going through. Interestingly he was studying for his lecture next day when I rang him at midnight (Man + Book).


April 25, 2012: Man + Fish + Book = payment acknowledgement receipt from him
He rang me today because I deposited the money for the coding part of the project I got done and he sent me the Payment acknowledgement, besides that he assured me that things will be sorted in time. I'm much much relaxed now.

This looks like a love which is not yet known, but is important.

My assignment was due. I desperately needed this operating system. All I needed was a piece of code, the operating system, few screen shots and that's it. I wrote the code, corrected it, got it double checked from a senior guy. I had everything ready, but the operating system.

I never understood why computers are so complicated and why don't the engineers code them in an easier manner? I tried, tried and tried but every time I had to face one problem or the other. I am really not a person who will give up. So I will try again, even though I knew it won't work. I did not want to lose the data so I couldn't install it on my laptop and the desktop was not allowing me to over-write the disk. Bla  bla blah! When I took the journal out, looked at this combo and told myself, no matter how hard you try my dear, its not going to happen today. (I still tried at least 10 times more) and finally cried and cried. I am really not good with accepting failure, and the worst part was I was going to lose 20 points just because of a stupid operating system. what kind of person can not install an operating system? *cried even harder*.

This has been my story with the cards so far which I read as when I drew them out

"Success with some learning/studying/project is not easy, rather will be delayed and huge obstacles stand in the way".

The message was clear, only I was banging my head with the mountain too hard!

I have been thinking about putting up a header picture on my blog since after I put one on the Tarot Blog.
I was not sure which cards to put up there, since its about the very first impression when someone visits the blog.

I asked my cards what should be the message in the header:

Fox - Book - Cross - Mountain - Key

I was sort of disappointed to look at so many negative cards, and the Cross sitting right in the middle, but then it hit me. The message was clear, exploring the knowledge and the hidden truth is a tough and painful task. One has to be patient and carefully climb the Mountain of Learning and in the very end you will find all the answers and you will realize that the journey has been worth while. The Key at the end also suggests that there are no short-cuts. You Must go through these tough tasks in order to find the key to the wisdoms.

Fox are the intelligent workers, in some schools they are taken as free-lance working. In my readings too I have seen Fox as coming on a very sharp minded person. With the Book it usually means to explore the hidden, the unknown wisdoms. Fox and Key suggest using the ability to put story together to find meanings. Book and Cross puts you to test your knowledge and practice often will help you climbing the Mountain through what you have learnt. These long-standing problems will put one to test his knowledge and abilities and eventually find the solution.

Yes I'm not joking seriously. This one came up in my reading few days ago when I offered two readings on a forum. Actually I once did them for my friends, so I thought why not give it a try again, just for the sake of some refreshment. Sometimes the psychic energies are high and I feel like making most of it, that is when I offer two-three readings for free.

So I was using the Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer for the readings.Reason being, this is the only series which is very very close to my heart. You will find many people my age being fantasized by the most romantic fictional characters of this time, Edward the Vampire and Jacob the werewolf.

A strange thing happened after I posted the post offering the two readings. I do my daily draw at night, the cards were Book + Clover + Moon. At that time I thought this might has something to do with my test in class next day. I was wrong. When I was asleep, I saw Breaking Dawn in dream. I do not remember the story in dream or anything but I saw Bella with red eyes, which implies it was Breaking Dawn Part 2 which has not been filmed completely yet. Anyhow next morning it more like a surprise when I recalled the dream to put in dream journal.

Even strange it got when I was watching TV in the afternoon and changing channels, I saw...oh yes you got it right, New Moon was coming on the cable. It seemed like there was something special happening with the draw, the readings offered and the Twilight series.

I still am not able to make much sense of situation yet, but that was something creepy. We have a new combination for lenormand combos!

Here is the spread. I have already done a reading with this spread. Worked like a charm.

This question is from Sarah about her love life since she is single for about a year now and the guys she is seeing are not generating any interest. She asked me that she wants to know about her love life and if she will soon feel "the feeling" again.

She had a sure help from a friend/a boyfriend in past who helped her learn about love or help her open up. She is quite hopeful and optimistic right now and thinks about socialising and opening herself more. He is on top of her, so she has him in her thoughts, but her feelings feel blocked or difficult to express. In the future we see she has to make a choice, or a decision. The Birds and Lilies show she might have more than one options and she might be seeing more than one guy in next two months. Lilies is an affair, Lilies can signify a man who is older than her, Queen of Pentacles and King of Spades can signify an affair. Birds is a couple, and Roads shows she has choices.

Answer: She will soon have some alternatives and choices but she would have to make a decision.

Its been longer than two weeks and I totally forgot to update this one. The row Man-Woman-Mountain, it did signify that there is a man who is her friend, more like a long-distance thing, but she is just not interested. The guy is good and everything but she finds it difficult to see them together as a couple.


We should wait for the Lilies guy.

The Lilies guy has popped up in her life. She was totally nervous about taking a decision when this guy asked her out, but then she took her chances and they have had two dates and things look favourable so far. She just asked me to do another spread for her now.

Book + Fox: Detective work!

Book is mainly looked at as "Secret" and the "Unknown". We see here the book is closed and we don't know what its about. The secondary meanings which I associate with Book is education, my Final Project specifically, since the cards have often chosen this card to represent my project. The Book, besides these meanings, can be documents, paper-work, letters, diaries, or occult knowledge.
Its something you need to learn about or discover.

There is a theory about Book card. The card towards the open side of the Book is something you know about, something you have a little idea about. The card to the spine side (right side for this deck) is what you have no idea about. I experienced this in my monthly GTs where I got the combination Book+Dog in one month and Dog+Book in next month. The first month was when this person had not appeared in my life, yet, and the second month was when I knew a little (not much) about him.

The Fox card has been talked about and discussed a lot in these two posts; here and here!

I said in that post the direction Fox is facing is what needs to be sniffed out, what requires an investigation and what can be wrong. The Fox is towards the Spine side of the Book, so one can assume, there is some lie or cheating which is not discovered yet. The Fox will sniff the Book, but won't be able to get much out of it since its facing the Spine side of the Book. so we can say:

• Despite the effort, secret won't be revealed
• Sniff out a secret
• Finding out a secret
• Detective work
• Make sure the documents are complete before you dispatch them.

I sense I will get a news about my project document that I submitted yesterday, I hope I did not miss anything in that!

Week 10!! (Updated)

Storks - Book - Mountain - Rider - Moon - Dog - Snake

The Rider in the middle shows there is a visitor or a movement happening this week. Rider-Moon can be a psychic message, a message in dream (I should write them down) or a message about recognition. Rider-Mountain can be a man coming from another country, or a stressful message.

Left arm: Storks - Book - Mountain
An improvement or expansion in studies which stresses me out. I see this coming. I have my project Interface design due in one week and I just started. The Storks mirror Snake, so the improvement in efficiency and smartness will help me. Book-Dog talks about a helpful friend.

Right arm: Moon - Dog - Snake
A friend looks in trouble here. Snake-Storks tell me this trouble will be resolved. Dog-Book, this friend is someone who studies. Moon-Mountain, he is worried about success, recognition and honours.

Rider represents one's thoughts too, so this week my thoughts will shift from unrealistic and illusions (Moon) towards the obstacles on hand (Mountain). 

Adding the numbers: 122- 32-Moon. We have a full moon in Virgo this week. The message is success, recognition and fame, dreams are important and must be written down.

Update: This week was full of stress initially because of the project document due exactly today. I was very worried but then I figured a way out, I did get some help from a friend (Dog+Book). Without his help I could not have done anything. The second half of the week was marked with my dad and me both falling ill due to intestine toxins (Snake). The week ended on a bad note due to my sickness. Feeling a lot well now. There was one very important dream this week, which I told my Mom and she said it was related to someone in the family who passed over to the next world and now they want me to know something.

Another 3x3 practice question

This question is a sequence to this post.

Q: What does she need to do in order to have a stable, healthy, long-term relationship?

The other question dealt mainly with what is blocking the way. This question deals with the aspect of what needs to be done.Of course an effort is needed in both regards and remember, both are different aspects, not same.

The first card: hope, faith and new path. This is my wish card, it tells me that we should never give up wishing on the Stars because we never know which one might come true. This card tells that she needs to remain hopeful and keep wishing. Its the power of faith that is biggest of all other powers.

The central card, Child. She needs a new beginning. Sometimes we are so used to the patterns and routines in our life, we forget the essence of life is change. She needs to start it fresh. Again the Child-like belief in things will also boost up the energy.

Columns:
1:A huge power of faith and believe is needed, which will resolve the troubles she is in. It looks like her faith is being blocked because of the negative energy present around. Whip is the negative energy here which needs to end with Mountain/Cross. Whip can also be the aggression which of bottled up, results in depression.
2: The learning about working of karma and the working of power of faith will help her on the way. There is some learning involved. She can not get her wish until she learns that there are burdens which we all have to carry, and this is where the growth comes in.She needs to grow up/learn/mature spiritually.
3: The power of optimism, will eventually shine through the clouds, set backs and hindrances. She needs to be the sun, that one ray of hope which comes out of the Clouds will eventually get her going towards a change.

1: One one side of book there is night, on the other side there is day. After every night there is a day. The extreme power of faith and hope is all that helps us learn about the true essence of life.
2: After she climbs the mountain, which can be a spiritual journey too, will come a fresh new beginning and improvements (Lighter side of clouds towards Child). The future right now is unclear, unless the fresh start happens.
3: Troubles/aggression/discussions end and a new change happens.The last line is quite hopeful.

Summary: In this reading I can see that some major hindrances need to be overcome. There is strong requirement for patience, clarity, faith and hope. It looks like nothing in the material world is holding her back, its more related to her spiritual well-being. Her soul needs to be cleansed and be new before something can happen for her.

Depression, introversion and Lenormand

I have been pretty down lately, while I should be happy. I was trying to put it onto the unplanned or unprepared for date of mine last week, but its not that only. There is something else bothering me. It can be my love being so absorbed in some depressive mode as well and I want to know WHY are we in this mode while nothing is apparently wrong.

Q: Why are we in this introvert, intense, depressive mode after our meeting?

Tree - Birds - Roads - Moon - Mice

Roads in the middle talk about a state of indecisive-ness or not knowing what to do. This is what's happening right now.
In the Past we had this comfortable, being home kind of feeling. Tree+Birds is my "being home" combo because Birds live on Trees.  Tree is enhanced if its placed closer to Roads. Therefore, we can say that this growth in the relationship and this stronger rooted connection (Tree) we have has made us nervous (Birds) and we don't know what to do (Roads).

In future, I see loss of sleep, we are already at it. He is taking pills to sleep and I spend nights awake, trying to figure out what's exactly wrong.

So story-line we have this deep connection, where we are supposed to grow and learn from each other (Tree), we are not feeling well in body and spirit (Tree+Birds). this is causing the anxiety and nervous about the options we have (Birds+Roads).The Roads in the middle tell me that we are at a decision point, we are not sure what to do, we cannot find the way to success (Roads+Moon) and this is what is causing the sleeplessness and other problems (Moon+Mice). Birds also suggest insomnia which both of us are having.we are not sure of these are the words of illusion(Birds+Moon) we are having and the Roads add to the unsure feelings. This is causing stress at spiritual level and this feeling of being eaten at (Tree+Mice).We both have been pretty ill with upset stomachs in last three days.

Adding the Cards: 13-Child: The major cause for all this is feeling vulnerable. We are scared that we are being too naive and exposing too much and the fear of getting hurt.

Its talking about a change that brings a woman in public, I should plan another date with him.

Book + Rider = A message which will remain a secret, a secret visit

This definitely points towards a secret visit which can bring a change, a positive change I hope, and this can be about meeting again. This will be a secret meeting (Garden+Book).

Adding them together : 71=8-Coffin. End whatever happened before and start afresh. Coffin is temporary pain that usually passes. So I should start it over to make him feel better.
